Join us for worship as classes begin at Yale and we introduce our new student music staff this Sunday. Pastor Ian Oliver will preach and celebrate Holy Communion. Daryl Denelle and Benjamin Geeding lead our prayers. We’ll introduce our new Choir Director, Mattias Lundberg and our new Organist Mingfei Xu. By Yale policy, visitors/guests should be up-to-date on their Covid vaccinations and able to provide proof. This Sunday our new University Church Choir will sing for the first time under the direction of Mattias Lundberg. Our Liturgical Coordinator, Benjamin Geeding, will preach. Pastor Ian Oliver will lead our prayers, Daryl Denelle, our Sam Slie Fellow will give the welcome, and Richard Morris and Hannah Mark will read our lessons. Current Yale policies require that all guests/visitors should be up to date on Covid vaccination and able to provide documentation if requested, and stay masked during the worship service. |

Daryl Denelle, UCY Sam Slie Fellow and Yale Divinity School student, will preach on Jesus’ parable of Lazarus and the Rich Man from Luke 16. Pastor Ian Oliver will lead our prayers. Mattias Lundberg will lead our choir in Thomas Tomkins’ “I Am the Resurrection and the Life” and Heather Reynolds and Violet Kimble will read our scriptures. We also welcome back Pastor Jenny Peek from her parental leave. |
